More and more, electric technology is creeping into the automotive world. And while ten years ago, that might’ve seemed like a big faux pas, now we welcome such things with open arms – so long as they are done well. Take, for instance, the E-Raw electric motorcycle concept from Essence Motorcycles. This modern minimalist bike is a work of art. What you might notice first about this EV 2-wheeler is its unique seat. Yes, it is indeed crafted from wood – plywood, to be exact, that was shaped by craftsmen in the same way that surfboards are made. You might also notice that the unique seat highlights the complete lack of a fuel tank on this all-electric bike. What the French builders have done, instead, is equip the E-Raw with a 10.1 kWh capacity battery that gives this motorcycle a range of 115 miles per charge, a top speed of 96 mph, and a torque output of roughly 133 foot-pounds. It can also go 0-62 in just 3.5 seconds. While it is still in the conceptual stage, the brand is planning on building ten units, with a price tag hovering around $60,000.
