This gorgeous electric-enhanced Italian-made eBike featured at Milan design week provides pedal assist power for long rides with an increased pace. The design of the Cykno eBike is vintage in spirit, recalling the bicycle designs of the early-to-mid 20th century. Carbon fiber and fine leather are used liberally in this design, while classy bits of character are added in the unusual seat design, old-world headlight and radial spoke wheels. Inside the frame, a 250 watt or 500 watt battery provides 60km of pedal-assist cruising on a single charge. While resting, the Cykno can recharge in 4 hours on a standard plug, ready to ride again at the end of the work day or the following morning. The Impec Lamborghini 50th Anniversary Edition will combine a Swiss-made Impec carbon frameset with premium Italian componentry and an exclusive paint job. The Audi’s e-bike Wörthersee looks futuristic at the very first glance and it’s neither a conventional bike nor a pedelec, but is best described as Audi’s high-end pedelec made for fun, tricks and sports. “The Audi Wörthersee is a bike for tomorrow and beyond; all its components, including the pedals even have been shaped by the master Audi designers. With its radically-light carbon-fiber frame that weighs only 1.6 kg and wheels made from CFRP that weighs only 600 grams, it is described to be one of the lightest e-bikes with an overall weight of only 21 kg. In all, the e-bike Wörthersee exemplify the full-extent of the Audi’s expertise in ultra-lightweight construction. Further, this e-bike also sports on-board computer which is located in the frame top tube and is operational using a touchscreen. Among the various functions, it provides recording trick sequences, riding mode selection and adjustments of various e-bike functions. On exhibition at Tokyo Motor Show 2011 Honda represent “Motor Compo”, a foldable electric scooter, which design hearkens back to the 1980′s “Motocompo”. The Motor Compo’s total length and height are under 1 meter (39”), which makes it super compact. It also features a removable battery specifically designed to be used as an emergency power source in case of disaster.”Looking at the “Motor Compo” now, it’s as if we combined the memories of both the city [line of honda cars] and the [1980's original] motocompo to create an image to represent this new generation.” Take a look!

The Cosmic Motors Detonator is an unique concept created by German automotive futurist Daniel Simon for his futuristic vehicle design company, “Cosmic Motors”. Simon calls this futuristic bike a “street cruiser bike built for humanoid droids.” Simon obtained his degree in vehicle design in 2001 at the University of Applied Science in Pforzheim, Germany. After completion, Simon went to Barcelona and designed concept cars for Bugatti and Lamborghini, followed by five years at the VW Group’s Advanced Studio where he is currently designing virtual vehicles for his brand Cosmic Motors. He has published a book, “Comic Motors” and continues to offer his services to premium carmakers while designing his own concepts.

Unusual combination of aerodynamic shapes of triathlon designs, flexible handling of traditional bikes and advanced hybrid power technology turns ordinary bike into vehicle from fantastic movies. “The frame is constructed from carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) for its high strength yield to weight ratio. Adaptability comes from mono-direction reinforcing of the frame, directing stiffness by orienting carbon fiber strains along a projected trajectory. The battery which powers the motor, integrated front and rear lights, as well as a charging dock for communication devices, entertainment, or navigation is directly charged from the rider’s own energy output to maximize efficiency.”
