Do you remember luxury yacht-island that we’ve shown you some time ago? Creators of this luxury yacht Yacht Island Design Ltd. again amazed us with their new concept – Project Utopia. Project Utopia is circular in shape, measures 330 feet in diameter, and spans 11 decks of living space. “The top decks are covered with a glass canopy, which allows sunlight to filter into the interior. The glass canopy can also be opened when the weather permits, providing fresh air to the top floors. When open, the top floor acts as an outdoor pool deck , complete with central swimming area. The vessel remains stable in choppy waters, thanks to four platform legs that anchor it into place, even during extreme conditions. Each leg has a propeller that allows the island to move at slow speeds in a steady manner. Four helicopter pads provide access to the island via air, and wet docks house boats and jet skis for recreational use. The interior hosts a retail area, a theater, a restaurant area, bars, nightclubs and a casino.”

You’ve probably seen various design of luxury yachts but for sure you haven’t seen such creative one. UK based company Yacht Island Design Ltd. moved up to a new level and has combined giant-sized personal luxury yacht and tropical island. This floating paradise has its own miniature volcano, flowing waterfall, mountain stream, and valley pool flanked by a series of small bamboo huts and shelter-providing palm trees. Deployable beach deck allows acces to the sea for various watersports and sea level relaxation. "Indoor entertainment is catered for by way of a cinema, library, games room and gym, with relaxation options in the form of a multitude of lounges each offering their own unique ambiance, and a fully equipped spa." It’s true paradise, don’t you think?

Italian designer Pietro Russomanno is the author of elegant the 77 foot, 40 ton Speedline yacht. “The reverse bow’s sinuous curves form ridges that hug the rear superstructure while a continuous strip of glass wraps elegantly around the main cabin, illuminating the 8 bedrooms and other facilities of the interior. Minimal styling in pure white and wood enhance its overall beauty inside and out.”

Concept of yacht for minimalistic but yet comfortable rest called Tofi was created by designer Hyun-Seok Kim had won the first place in the concest 2011 “Dreamboat” Millennium Yacht Design Award . Dreamboat has a living room-studio intended to spend on it most of the time allocated on a sea voyage, two bedrooms with excellent views of the water spaces, separated shower. From the common room you can go to the large terrace designed for dances, talk or just chit-chatting. On sunny days it can be used as private beach. On the other side of Tofi there is a small glass room with a hole in the floor for fishing in all weather conditions. Also there is another, completly unexpected place for relax – the roof. Here you can find a small playground with a couple of benches, tables and a barbeque. Also it has access to the diving board.

Studio Job from Belgium in collaboration with Dutch nautical architect Willem Nieland created a classic boat with a modern look Firmship 42. The boat is coated completely in shades of grey with teak doors, furniture and interior fittings plus Corian surfaces in place of the usual plastic found aboard boats. Upholstery, furniture details and a stained glass window incorporate seafaring symbols like anchors, ship’s wheels, skull-and-crossbones and sea creatures. Called Firmship 42, the boat was originally commissioned by Casper Vissers, founder of the Moooi furniture brand, for his family’s own use but there are now plans to collaborate on a 60-foot version under the Firmship brand.

Studio Art of Kinetik produces custom luxury wooden yachts. Their the most recent addition to the collection – “Hedonist” – is a work of art and a synonym for comfort and convenience. This 63-foot motoryacht can cruise at speeds up to 40 knots. The exterior is cloaked in fine mahogany with glass and metal accents and its design is created with no seams, it’s so clean that no screw or piece of plastic aren’t visible to the eye. The interior is as refined and detailed as a luxury hotel. It seems like Art of Kinetik has a good team of designers, naval architects and engineers.
