Melbourne designer Adam Cornish has won the 2011 Corporate Culture Design Pitch with his Monkey Pots – a system of linked hanging planters inspired by the classic children’s game Barrel of Monkeys. The pots make a great feature on their own or can be linked together to form chains of hanging baskets. Ideal for where space is limited.

Adam Cornish’s Playful Monkey Pots
Conrete 100% by HandMadeFont
Professionals from Tallin based studio HandMadeFont created a series of concrete art objects. “We offer unique products that are all handmade and one of a kind pieces. We use an advanced cement mix which gives an incredibly strong, smooth, and tactile surface that is more similar to ceramic or aluminum than it is to concrete. Our products are very durable – there’s a steel[K1] frame inside each product and the concrete will continue to gain strength with time. Products are available in the original, aesthetic gray tone of the concrete and also in black (the concrete surface is painted over).” So if you want to make your interior more unique – visit catalog and contact guys from HandMadeFont. Non là Clocks by Studio Klass
Milan-based Studio Klass have created the Non là ceramic table clocks for Diamantini & Domeniconi. “Non là is a ceramic table clock with conical shape, inspired by the famous straw hat – Nón lá in vietnamese – and usually used by asian people to protect themselves from sun and rain. The form comes also from a functional aspect: when the watch is placed on the table, the base of the cone – on which the quadrant is on – is tilted, thus facilitating the reading time.” Take a look! Cuatro Almas (Four Souls)
Created by creative team GRANtipo with creative director Sergio Daniel García the following wine collection was designed for Señorío de Somalo using a unique range of materials. "The project consisted of creating a series of graphic elements that, putting aside the established canons, are able to be sustained over time, emphasizing on the innovation of their materials. We wanted to take a good product, the wine from the Bodegas Señorío de Somalo, and turn it into something unique with a collection of limited edition bottles packed with information, with the use of BIDI codes, which offer us the possibility of creating minimalist labels, expandable with a simple gesture: when scanning the code with a mobile we’re literally taking you into the world of the winery. The collection’s name is Cuatro Almas (Four Souls). The “souls” represents the different varieties that the winery hosts. The whole collection is about this number: four collections with four bottles each: Hut Pendant Light
The project called Hut Pendant Light for the new Australian Interior product brand UNDER was designed by Kristian Aus. These house lamps hang from the ceiling to bring a warm light inside any room. Made in Australia from powder-coated steel and acrylic, the Hut Pendant Light doesn’t have any screws. Its concept is similar to the Autumn House Lights project because a beacon of light and shape makes the viewers look up, towards home. Maybe the philosophy behind this whole concept wants to remind us that when we look up, we will always have a familiar and warm place: home. Have fun! Limited Edition EvoWood Swiss Army Knife
Wenger with the L.L. Bean collaboration created Swiss Army Knife made using EvoWood, a sustainable wood made from reclaimed walnut, to celebrate 100 year anniversary of L.L. Bean. The anniversary edition includes a screwdriver, knife, bottle opener, wire bender, nail file, nail cleaner and more. Each knife comes in a custom gift box and has a 100-year anniversary logo engraved on the handle and the knife blade. L.L. Bean is selling the knife as part of an exclusive, limited-edition release. Take a look! Square Heineken Bottle by Petit Romain
If you love beer or even obsess about it then this new concept of the bottle is for you. French industrial designer Petit Romain recently conceived of a way to take beer outside the bottle. Tired of round bottles in six-packs that clink together and are difficult to stack, Romain imagined enjoying Heineken out of a square bottle instead. Back in the early 1960s, Heineken debuted a rectangular beer bottle that doubled as a glass brick. Similar to that design, the Heineken Cube concept delivers optimal storage for manufacture, transport, and ultimately consumer use. Take a look! Wooden Toys by Permafrost
We’ve already shown you some collections of creative toys such as Leather Pull Toys by Ellen Heilmann or Extremely Stylish Kids Toys. This time we want to show you another great example of kids toys. They are featered on New Nordic – Architecture and Identity exhibition at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. This is set of wooden toys depicting modern day industrial icons, while at the same time honouring traditional Nordic craftsmanship made by Permafrost. The exhibition is open until October 21st in Copenhagen. Have fun!
