Neptune Duo Smart Watch With Pocket Screen

The Neptune Duo is a full Android Lollipop smartphone with a big, curved, non-flexible display, but it’s the companion piece to the watch that deviates from the typical formula. Whereas most smartwatches need to pair with a smartphone, the Neptune Duo links up with what the makers call a “Pocket Screen,” which is a 5-inch 720p display that pairs with the watch and can remotely run apps. The “dumb” phone gives you access to bigger apps and content, as well as a pair of cameras (2-megapixel front and 8-megapixel rear) and a battery to recharge the watch with. The watch itself features Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 4G, and NFC, letting you make calls from your wrist, send texts, track fitness stats and more. Pre-orders are being taken now.

The MOTA SmartRing

It’s not necessary to constantly check your phone if it’s much easier to check your finger! The MOTA SmartRing wirelessly connects to your smartphone and updates you only on the notifications you want, right at your fingertips. Powered by Bluetooth LE, it uses an LED touchscreen to keep you up to date, combined with subtle vibrations to let you know when you’ve received a notification – from text messages and incoming calls, to Facebook and Twitter alerts. Available in midnight and pearl white, the MOTA SmartRing will always keep you updated in style. Price tag is $99.99 and the ring will be available for sale in June 2015.
