Prahan Hotel

Take a look at renewed Prahan Hotel in Melbourne, Australia. Techné Architects made a design y adding an extension that uses oversized concrete pipes. “The Prahan Hotel is set to commence on the second stage of its transformation. Succeeding the recent interior refurbishment, the planned new works include an extension to the rear of the venue. Featuring a facade constructed out of concrete culverts, linked together in a way that enables the patrons to sit within them to view and interact with the venue and its fellow patrons. A fully glazed courtyard cuts through the interior, connecting all levels and allowing natural light in. The design intends to add another unique and captivating venue to the ever evolving Melbourne pub scene.” And this fresh and unordinary design force to at least stand and look at it. And for sure it force to book a room. So if you need to say a while in Melbourne this creative Prahan Hotel is a right choice. Have fun!

  1. Amazing design and very intuitive, isn’t it? I love how the concrete pipes were used, not with its original purpose, but as a main attraction/design of the hotel.
