Lamborghini revealed it’s making the hybrid Sián supercar even better – by removing the roof. The hyper-stylized Sián is now available in a roofless roadster that sacrifices nothing to the coupe in either looks or performance. The transmission-mounted 48-volt electric motor and supercapacitor remain for an added surge while launching and handling reverse and fills in torque during shifts, resulting in seamless gear changes with no loss of forward momentum.
The 6.5-liter V12 does most of the heavy lifting, however, with 785 horsepower and a combined 819 with the electric power unit. The loss of the roof will add one-tenth of a second to the 0-60 time, with the Sián roadster clocking 2.9 seconds. 19 roadsters are to be made, with all them having been sold.
