It was an incredibly active year for Lamborghini – they have released a few new models, from the new Huracan STO to the limited-edition Aventador SVJ Xagos to the competition-grade Essenza SCV12 hypercar. And recently Lamborghini has announced one final reveal for this year with the one-of-one SC20 Roadster.
Penned by Lambo’s Design Center and developed in collaboration with the firm’s Squadra Corse motorsport division, the SC20 is built around a monocoque chassis and adorned in sleek bodywork – both made from carbon fiber – and is powered by the same naturally-aspirated 6.5L V12 engine found in the Essenza, though it’s been re-tuned to generate 759hp (down from 820hp) and 531ft-lbs of torque and is now mated to the firm’s seven-speed ISR transmission. And despite its race-ready appearance and moniker, the SC20 is actually a street-legal machine. Marking Squadra Corse’s first-ever one-off work, the SC20 is devoid of a windshield and instead utilizes a series of 3D-printed panels that redirect air over the driver and passenger’s heads. A full carbon aero kit, complete with rear wing, and a one-of-a-kind livery complete this one-off work.
