A nice series of animal illustrations of a bear, a lion, a fox and an owl entitled “Predators” by Russian graphic designer Maxim Shkret. These intriguing illustrations are digitally created using a combination of four powerful graphics programs, leveraging the strengths of each program to create the depth, color, and personality of his creations. The programs include 3D Studio Max, VRay, ZBrush, and Adobe Photoshop CS5. The intense eyes and elaborate furrowed hair gives each predator a very intimidating appearance. Netherlands-based artist Redmer Hoekstra draws really fascinating composite illustrations merging animals and everyday objects or machines.
