Macro Snowflakes by Alexey Klijatov

Russian photographer Alexey Klijatov has been capturing images of snowflakes on his balcony through an ingenious method, armed with nothing more than a Canon A650, a flipped around Russian 58mm lens, and a LED light. The details are so sharp that you can see the fractal composition. “I capture snowflakes at open balcony of my house, mostly on glass surface, lighted by LED flashlight from opposite side of glass, and sometimes in natural light, using dark woolen fabrics as background.” Take a look at these mind blowing macro photos!
