Polish photographer Pawel Kadysz imagines that Darth Vader is more like us than we might realize. In his series of selfies called Daily Life of Darth Vader , Kadysz shows that the infamous Sith Lord performs many of the same relatable and mundane tasks that we do, such as food shopping and cleaning the house. Sometimes, he likes to enjoy the great outdoors, too. The only difference? He wears an imposing mask.

Star Wars Characters Reimagined As Ancient Greek Statues

Based on forms he found in Paris’ Louvre museum, Durden has digitally sculpted a series of five figures, each bearing the armor or facial likeness of a one of the film’s fictional personalities. The $28k Watch Inspired by Darth Vader

Devon, an LA-based design team, has taken Darth Vader’s blacked-out style and infused it into this elaborate timepiece. The $28,500 watch has little elements borrowed from the Sith Lord – a strap designed like his gloves, accents that mimic his helmet – and a wild stand that looks like a TIE Fighter. But this isn’t just some fanboy timepiece, with scratch-resistant polycarbonate lens with bulletproof durability, four interwoven 2-micron thin nylon belts that tell the time, four micro-step motors, and a total of 350 individual parts, this is a serious watch for serious watch fans. Also included are a pair of TIE Fighter cuff links to finish off the look. Of course, with only 500 being made, and a price tag that rivals a new car, it might be nice just to look at the pictures.

The Apple Lightsaber

If Apple somehow landed a lightsaber contract, this is probably what they’d look like. 3D modeler extraordinaire Martin Hajek went ahead and imagined the iSaber. Designed by Apple in Tatooine, and assembled in Hoth, this fictional energy weapon has been cleverly visualized to include all the telltale design cues of a real Apple product. Hajek went to the extent of creating product copy for the mythical iSaber, which is touted as “an elegant weapon for a more civilized age,” while silver, gold and space gray editions are pictured. No word yet on whether the iSaber is prone to bending in your pocket.

Star Wars House in Korea

Designed by the team at Korean architecture firm Moon Hoon, this Star Wars inspired dwelling is the beginning of a trend in Korea. This trend sees residents moving away from small apartments in the city, and into larger, detached homes in less densely populated areas. One quick glance at the home’s spaceship like facade, and you know exactly how it got its name. Geometrically, the Star Wars house has almost the same lines as the Sandcrawler from the beginning of A New Hope, but the exterior has a texture that is closer to the militaristic gray skin of the Death Star. Moon Hoon says that the house was designed for a young South Korean family looking to upgrade from an apartment to a small residential home with a garden for their children to play in. On the inside, Moon Hoon’s design is a little less evocative of the George Lucas aesthetic: it’s bright, open, and modern. It contains a few playful elements, like a playroom hidden behind a bookcase and a short slide between floors, but the white walls and combination pine-and-birch woodwork are otherwise pretty conventional. According to Moon Hoon, the Star Wars house cost $200,000 to design and build. Not a bad price for a home, let alone a piece of a galaxy far, far away.
