New McLaren 600LT Continues the Longtail Tradition

McLaren has just revealed the most powerful model in its Sports Series to date – the 600LT. The incredibly sleek supercar, which is just the the fourth McLaren to feature the “Longtail” name in 20 years, pulls inspiration from the 675LT while upping the ante with a 3.8L twin-turbocharged V8 that produces 592 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque. It also makes use of the lightweight braking system from the McLaren 720s and the lightweight carbon fiber seats from the Senna, reducing the weight by a total of 96kg. No performance figures have been revealed yet, but you can expect it to be significantly quicker that the 570S’s 0-62mph time of 3.2 seconds. The New McLaren Senna: The Ultimate Road-Legal Track Car

The McLaren Senna has been designed, engineered and developed with single-minded purpose: to be the ultimate McLaren track-concentrated car for the road. McLaren has named its new hypercar after legendary three-time F1 champion Ayrton Senna. The McLaren Senna is a track-focused road car, “legalised for road use, is how McLaren describes the new Senna, powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 789 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. Weighing in at just 1,198 kilograms, it’s the lightest car the brand has ever produced and also has the highest power-to-weight ratio at 659 hp per ton. The engine will be paired with a dual-clutch, seamless-shift, seven-speed transmission delivering power to the rear wheels. The McLaren Senna will have RaceActive Chassis Control II (RCC II) hydraulic suspension working along with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires developed specifically for the car. Simply called PD1, Prior Design’s upgrade program for the 570S adds a touch of magic to the car, which now looks way more aggressive than before, thanks to the side air intakes for the front bumper, side-blades, new side skirts, fender attachments, a new rear diffuser, a rear wing and last, but not least, a roof scoop. The supercar also benefits from an exclusive interior redesign, which can be customized according to your own taste and preferences. The German tuner is more than willing to go all out and provide you with the right colors and the most exquisite materials for your dream car, while the PD3CLForged custom wheels, designed in-house by Prior-Design, or the custom exhaust system, will take this 570S even closer to perfection. This McLaren brags about 570 PS and 600 Nm of torque, which enables it to do 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds and max out at 328 km/h (204 mph).

Practical 570GT Supercar from McLaren

For the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, McLaren will showcase the largest selection of models to date with a full range of models, including the latest – the McLaren ‘570GT’. Intended for everyday uses, the two-seat, mid-engined sportscar focuses on usability and long distance comfort. The clean lines of the revised glass hive the ‘570GT’ a refined shape and mark out the second of three body styles which complete the ‘sport series.’ A standard fixed glass panoramic roof provides a bright, open cabin running through to the large rear glass hatch. Equipped with larger dihedral doors that open more upward, the cabin is paired with eight-way electrically adjustable sports seats upholstered in leather. The control interfaces are managed through the centrally-mounted touchscreen, while vehicle setup is configurable via the digital instrument cluster. The front luggage area remains unchanged from its other models, but McLaren have further added an extra 220 liters of space behind the sears on the leather-lined touring deck. The glass hatch is framed by carbon fibre to provide significant torsion rigidity and stiffness. The ‘570GT’ is fitted with the McLaren-developed 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine which debuted in the ‘570S’ coupé. The 562 bhp is delivered to the rear wheels via a seven speed transmission with adjustment through normal, sport and track presets. Weighing 1,350 kilograms the car can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and continue to a top speed of 328 km/h. The McLaren ‘570GT’ will hit the streets in late 2016.

McLaren P1 Concept Car

After 20 years of originally introducing the fastest production vehicle in the world, british McLaren Automotive has released information about the debut of their newest sports car, the “McLaren P1”. Aiming to replace its iconic predecessor, the new concept will be introduced at the 2012 Paris Auto Show as a design study, expecting to inform the new form factor of the production model. Although the supercar still has no official release date, it is expected to be manufactured in limited quantities.

McLaren 12C Spider Convertible

McLaren has revealed its new 12C Spider. McLaren has opted for a retractable hard top, which the company says takes around 17 seconds to put up or down. The MP4-12C Spider also treats occupants to a power wind deflector that can be raised or lowered behind the seats. Like the fully covered MP4-12C, the McLaren 12C Spider Convertible is powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine that will push it to 60 mph in less than 3.1 seconds. It tops off at 204 mph, a blinding speed that must feel exhilarating with the roof slid back.
