Today we want to show you truly interesting concept. Red by Joona Järvinen is a semi-autonomous machine that aims to improve work safety and productivity wherever it goes. Its unique symmetrical structure enables instantaneous switching between moving directions. Using infrared scanners Red can travel autonomously between assigned fields and forestry sites, but can also be controlled remotely from another vehicle to execute more precise tasks and maneuvers.

Pininfarina is an Italian design studio who have in the past have helped design some of the most iconic Ferrari’s around, along with other companies. Recently it would seem that they have decided to try their hand at something new – tractors. This is the Zetor tractor as designed by Pininfarina. Tt isn’t an actual vehicle for sale, but rather a concept that the company will be showing off at the Agritechnica trade show which will be taking place in Hannover, Germany. The design will also celebrate Zetor Tractors’ 70 years of operations. According to a Zetor spokesperson, “We assume that the new Zetor by Pininfarina design will be adopted in all the series of Zetor tractors.”

Honda UK has teamed up with British touring car championship partner, Team Dynamics, to create the world’s fastest lawn mower. The re-engineered Honda HF2620 lawn tractor is conceived from the ground-up with an all-new fabricated chassis, outfitted with a 1000cc engine from a honda VTR firestorm that produces 109 horsepower. With this, the grass trimmer can reach 0-100km/h (0-62 mph) in just four seconds, with a top speed of 208km/h (130mph). the garden toy is supplemented with a custom-made paddle shift six-speed gearbox, paired with a custom-made cobra sports seat, a scorpion exhaust system and a morris minor steering rack. Along with a bespoke suspension and wheels from an ATV, the “mean mower” still can – thanks to two electric motors on the cutter deck – mow the lawn at around 24km/h (15mph) with spinning 3mm steel cutting cable at 4000rpm.
