Hennessey has unveiled a one-off masterpiece known as the Venom F5 Revolution LF, the inaugural creation under its new Maverick division dedicated to ultra-custom commissions. Crafted for entrepreneur Louis Florey, this hyper-exclusive open-top Venom F5 reimagines what a bespoke American hypercar can be.
The LF features radical aerodynamic revisions borrowed from the upcoming Venom F5 Evolution, including a new front splitter, reshaped dive planes, re-sculpted fender louvres, an integrated rear deck lip spoiler, and an imposing rear wing standing 290 mm tall. The powertrain is brutal and analog: a 6.6-liter twin-turbo “Fury” V8 producing 2,031 hp, paired with a gated six-speed manual transmission – making this the most powerful, most intricate, and most engaging Venom F5 built to date.
The chassis is entirely new too – an all-carbon-fiber monocoque dubbed “XCell_2” – designed to offer enhanced stiffness, ergonomics, and even pedal placement, accommodating that manual gearbox with wider footwells. Inside, controls borrow from horological craftsmanship: a solid-aluminum gated shifter, luminous-infill switchgear, and a bolt-action-style parking lever all heighten the analog intimacy of the cabin.
Hennessey positions this creation as an expression of the American Dream, stating that the Maverick division empowers owners to push the Venom F5 into entirely personal dimensions. Alongside this debut, the Venom F5 Revolution Evolution also made its global public debut during Monterey Car Week – ushering in Hennessey’s most powerful internal-combustion production road car to date, featuring upgraded power, aerodynamics, mode-adaptive suspension, and optional touring-focused enhancements.
While not directly tied to architects of bricks and mortar, this Venom F5 epic carries a spirit similar to creators of complex collectors’ builds. In the world of hypercars, Hennessey’s Revolution LF stands as a kinetic sculpture, precision-crafted and one-of-a-kind. Also be sure to check our list of the fastest cars in the world.
