IWC Schaffhausen and Hot Wheels celebrate the return to Goodwood with a new limited edition, the IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition IWC x Hot Wheels. Housed in a 43mm blasted titanium case with see-through sapphire glass back, the dial features a racing-inspired black background with a chequered racing flag motif, contrasting with the black sub-counters with a concentric pattern.
The side of the watch is engraved with the iconic Hot Wheels flame logo on its side at 9 o’clock.
The timepiece is powered by the recently released in-house IWC 69385, an integrated automatic chronograph movement beating at 28800.0 vph (4.0 hz) and 46 hours power reserve.
Packaged inside of a special metal toolbox this collectors set includes the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition “IWC x Hot Wheels Racing Works” along with a miniature Hot Wheels Mercedes-Benz 300 SL “Racing Works Edition,” the most detailed 1:64th scale models ever created.
Priced at $10,000 only 50 examples of the IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition “IWC x Hot Wheels Racing Works” will be made. The first example is being auctioned online by Bonhams online until October 22nd, with proceeds benefitting the charitable Two Bit Circus Foundation. The remaining 49 will be available directly from IWC.
