LEGO‘s latest kit based on a real vehicle is this spectacular 1,077-piece Mini Cooper. Specifically, the car is the MINI Cooper Mk VII, measuring over 4 inches high, 9 inches long and 5 inches wide. The body is finished in a classic green and white color scheme with white wing mirrors and racing stripes. Features include sporty fog lights, detailed engine and a separate spare tire compartment, as well as opening doors, hood and trunk. Additionally, the roof can be removed to allow access to a tan colored interior with patterned seats, veneer-style dashboard, turning steering wheel, and moving gearshift and handbrake. There’s even a picnic basket and blanket for a day trip to the countryside. Look for the LEGO Mini Cooper to launch in stores in August. And also check our list of 15 biggest LEGO sets ever made.
