New Electric Jaguar E-Type Zero

The Jaguar E-Type Concept Zero is no longer a Concept, and there’s now a page to register your interest in the E-Type Zero on Jaguar’s website. There’s no official word on the Jaguar E-Type Zero price, but after speaking to representative’s at the unveiling of the concept last year we were told at the time the car costs around £300,000. The final E-Type Zero price may not be quite that steep, but we fully expect the car to carry a lofty price tag once its announced closer to its expected 2020 release date. The E-Type Zero shares the same body and style as the iconic car from the 1960s and 70s, but peek inside the cabin and you’ll notice a few 21st century additions.

1954 Jaguar D-Type Works

Some cars have a history. Some cars have a history that is so important they could be considered national treasures. OKV2 was the lead car for the factory Jaguar team at the 1954 Le Mans and was considered a heavy favorite to win — which it didn’t do. The car was driven by Sir Stirling Moss and went back to the factory to become the development car for next year’s race – which Jaguar won, along with the ’56 and ’57 races. A technical achievement and one of the most important cars in motoring history, D-Type OKV2 is expected to bring over $12 million at auction.

Jaguar Future-Type Concept: Jaguar’s Vision for the Year 2040

The Jaguar Future-Type has been revealed at an event in London appropriately titled Tech Fest, it was created to showcase the technology the company’s currently beavering away on. It’s Jaguar’s idea of how the concept of car ownership could evolve by the year 2040. The Future-Type is designed with the intention of being summoned on demand. It’s capable of fully autonomous driving, although occupants will still be able to take the wheel themselves – because, in Jaguar’s words, ‘you may still want to enjoy the thrill of driving yourself.’ Its tandem-esque 2+1 seating layout allows a slimline shape, the better for parking and navigating crowded urban streets. This being an autonomous concept, the interior’s configured for face-to-face seating.

The 1954 Jaguar XK120 Roadster

A stunning vintage Jaguar will go under the gavel at the RM Auction in Monterey this August. This 1954 Jaguar XK120 Roadster has been restored to prime condition, showing off smooth curves and shiny features as if it were just a lass. Several thousand of these were produced in the early 50s, both as a casual cruiser and a competitive racer, but few stand in a condition like this. The "54 Jaguar XK120" is amongst a handful of the featured lots in Monterey this year, and while it may not command the highest auction price, it is surely the belle of the ball in our eyes. Jaguar F-Type

Take a look at 2-seat convertible sports car Jaguar “F-type” debuting at the 2012 Paris International Car Show. With a supercharged 5.0L V8 engine producing 488-horsepower and a maximum torque of 375 lb-ft, the vehicle reaches a maximum speed of 186mph (300km/hr), attaining 0-62mph (0-100km/hr) in 4.2 seconds. This gorgeous car concept inspired by the e-type from 50 years ago and called “XKX Jaguar” was created by Hussain Almossawi (Co-Founder of design studio Skyrill in collaboration with Marin Myftiu. “The XKX Jaguar is a new generation electric roadster, aimed at pushing both performance and power efficiency to a new level. This concept tries to revive the glorious design lines of the brand, combining fresh solutions, a unique, new aerodynamics, tailored around the electrical elements of the power system as well as cutting-edge energy feedback.” Stunning design!

Limited Edition Jaguar C-X75

Last year the British automaker Jaguar unveiled the concept car C-X75. The British luxury car manufacturer announced that it would indeed produce the C-X75 . There will only be 250 limited edition vehicles produced, with the majority of them packing a turbo charged hybrid 4 cylinder motor. It looks like Jaguar will be staying true to the original concept though, with a select handful of these packing micro-turbines to power the rear while drive rocket. In addition to the electric power put off by the hybrid motor, the turbines will each pump out 95 horsepower helping this vehicle reach 60 miles per hour from a standstill in just 3 seconds flat. The super car will be offered in both left and right-hand-drive versions, meaning that it will be available in markets all over the world. In addition to that, the CX-75 will be highly personalized, meaning that customers will have the possibility to choose any color and interior finish.
