This luxury watch concept named “Ringen” was created by French designer Marc Tran. It was inspired by the perfect roundness of balls and automotive shapes. The watch is composed mostly of white gold, but the blue disc that represents the hours is made of brushed, anodized aluminum and adds a touch of youth to the overall design. Inspired by ultramodern angular super car, the Lamborghini Aventador, the Avenger watch also looks ultramodern. Fiona Krüger, a recent graduate of ECAL/university of arts and design lausanne from the master in luxury industry and design has created unusual watches called “Memento Mori” for her thesis project. The timepiece reinterprets the theme of mortality in watch-making. The luxury watch appreciates both the mexican imagery of dia de los muertos and the 17th century watch of mary queen of scotts with a human skull detailed with decorative, gold metalwork. The watch case is literally shaped like a skull, fashioned from solid silver and mineral hand cut glass and is engraved by hand. The dial is made from gold and rhodium plated brass which has been laser cut and engraved. Blued steel hands of the clock move by a ETA 2824 mechanism over the skull watch face. “Momento Mori” is fastened to one’s wrist by a blued calf leather band with a silver buckle. Take a look!

This futuristic watch concept called ADJUST Concept watch was created by Belgium Designer Nico NL1. The time is told with a combination of 32 LED-enlightened triangles, emulating classical digits: the hours are on top and the minutes below. The strap is made of 2 pieces of flexible plastic, molded to fake links. The outer part of the case is more rigid, its top is flat, with a cavity that hosts the display covers. The back is made of metal, contrasting with the plastic part and giving an illusion of thinness to the case. Designer says "2111 A.D.,Corporations have taken control of our ruined planet. Some humans have found a way to escape their control. They communicate with a new language, based on triangles. ADJUST concept watch uses this language to tell time." Take a look!
