Today we want to show you two things at once: ring and sculptures. The author is Rebecca Rose. She creates unique rings-sculptures. "My methods involve a process called kit bashing, where I assemble found and burnable objects reminiscent of childhood toys, game pieces, organic materials, and imported miniatures in order to convey a narrative or story. An avid art collector myself, I create works with the collector in mind. The precious metals used in the series retain monetary value, as sterling silver consistently appreciates in the world market, and by providing accurate and highly detailed documentation for each piece, provenance is a cinch." Hublot MP-05 LaFerrari Limited Edition
With the recent unveiling of the Ferrari’s “LaFerrari” at the Geneva Motor Show, the pressure was on for Hublot to deliver something just as exceptional and the MP-05 LaFerrari watch is the result. Looking like a miniature engine strapped to the wrist, the limited edition timepiece is priced at a cool 300,000 Swiss francs, or about $322,000. The MP-05 “LaFerrari” was developed – in technical and design terms – entirely in parallel with the car, alongside the Ferrari teams. They share a number of common points. Able to boast no fewer than 637 components for the movement, which is also equipped with a Tourbillon, as well as a power reserve of approximately 50 days thanks to its 11 barrels, arranged in a line just like a spinal column and interconnected so that they do not each discharge in turn but support each other, this watch is closer to being a concept watch. Playful Clip Bag by Peter Bristol
If you like unordinary things and want to be unique then this playful Clip Bag is for you. It borrows its form from a common office item – the binder clip. Constructed of wool felt and aluminum tubing, the bag functions so well you might forget just how clever it is. Peter Bristol is the clever designer of this unique bag. Camera Lens Wedding Ring
For all photography lovers and others who love cameras for more reasons than one, Titanium Buzz has designed a lens-inspired wedding ring. Dubbed the Camera Lens Ring, it’s similar to a camera lens dedicatedly made to lure photographers getting married or have deep passion for their work and would love to wear a love band that expresses their passion. The ring is embedded with AF/MF autofocus toggle switch and in appearance is like the bottom side of the lens. The rings are made from zirconium. Measuring 10mm wide, the rings can be made for any size finger with personalized laser engraving of maximum 25 characters for a hefty price tag of $329. Digital Destruction Watch by Ross McBride
The Digital Destruction Watch is a good analogy for how old has to make way for the new. Designed by Ross McBride the watch features a face where the analog dial seems to have been destroyed by the elements and made way for the digital era. “Time marches on. The old must make way for the new, but sometimes it does not go willingly as with the Digital Destruction Watch. Set in an analog body, the traditional mechanical dial seems to have shattered to make way for the digital LCD screen. The “crown” is actually a button that switches between time, second, and date modes, as well as activate the backlight.” If it looks interesting to you – you can always buy it here. CGSociety user, Cyber recently designed a ring clock, a mechanical ring made from stainless steel that displays the time. It has three rings that rotate separately, displaying the hour, minutes and seconds. An indicator ensures that you put the ring on properly, and the current time is highlighted. Not only is this little gadget functional, but it’s also quite stylish.
