McLaren has just revealed the most powerful model in its Sports Series to date – the 600LT. The incredibly sleek supercar, which is just the the fourth McLaren to feature the “Longtail” name in 20 years, pulls inspiration from the 675LT while upping the ante with a 3.8L twin-turbocharged V8 that produces 592 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque. It also makes use of the lightweight braking system from the McLaren 720s and the lightweight carbon fiber seats from the Senna, reducing the weight by a total of 96kg. No performance figures have been revealed yet, but you can expect it to be significantly quicker that the 570S’s 0-62mph time of 3.2 seconds.
