eVouse is a conceptual mouse, that can operate in two modes – as the standard mouse and also can be switched to air mode. For example, for any specific design goals, such as drawing. The control buttons and scroll wheel are made in the form of small sensory panels, LED backlight is used as feedback and reacts to each command. But, of course, the main feature of the concept is exellent design of device, as well as its ergonomics: it is perfectly placed in the hand. The author of concept is designer Marcial Ahsayane.

If you have scraps of pencils and eraser and a great desire to save paper and thus save the forest, then this concept is for you. Pencil Printer created by designer Hoyoung Lee is not only for printing text, but also for its erasure. The trick in this concept is to use graphite extracted from scraps of ordinary pencils instead of toner. The printer has two “exits”. First one is for printed pages, the other one theoretically is for blank pages. Quite unusual eco concept.

Serbian designer Damjan Stanković has invented an unusual drinking glass called Cipher, which recognizes drinks. Pixels on the glass change their color depending on whether there poured a drink. Differently colored shapes are scattered across the glass surface in a seemingly random pattern, however their position is hardly accidental. And if you pour a glass of milk, juice, coca-cola or coffee, it appears appropriate inscription. Clever idea!

We’ve already told you about electronical magazine Infinite Book. The project OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) created Something similar – tablet XO-3. This computer is about the size of envelope but have a lot of modern features. It has a webcam on the back side and ability to shoot video with intuitive control. Main substrate of LCD-display is made from plastic that will protect it from damage. Ring in the corner of a tablet is made to hold it with comfort or hang up when it’s not in use. There will be used the display Pixel Qi, it is suitable for reading at bright sun and is equipped with a power saving mode. XO-3 will be equipped with processor ARM, the device will be waterproof, but its thickness will be 0.65 cm. This unusual tablet should appear in 2012 and its value will be just $75.

It’s really a new life for retro style. Almost every designer have in their portfolio something in retro style. Even if it’s a concept of PC. Created by design studio SchultzeWORKS this stylish computer was inspired by the 1954 Philco Predicta television. Keyboard and mouse are created in the typewriter style but also have steampunk features. Besides its retro look Philco PC runs on Windows 7 and all its specs are modern. This bright PC is not for everyone and certainly can’t be mass-produced. But it will find its fans for sure.
