Animal Pocket Knife by David Suhami

The following anti-boredom Swiss pocket knife created by Israeli designer David Suhami is a funny mix between the traditional Swiss box cutter and an exotic jungle safari. David has created an “animal pocket knife” while at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Tel Aviv. He turned this common object into giraffes, antelopes and rhinos. “Eclipse” Phone by Sebastien Sauvage

This super-sleek phone called “Eclipse” was inspired by old-fashioned telephone Dect. Designer Sebastien Sauvage created “telephone offering all the functions expected in a Digital telephone for today’s consumers. It consists of a base unit and handset embedded together in a single and continuous ellipsoidal form factor.The combination of curved contours combined with the visual absence of keypad and screen contribute to the minimalist and simplicity of an elegant sculptural aspect which challenges conventional assumptions about telephone design without compromising on the comfort and functionality.”

The same concept is inherent functionality: a hollow shape with two sides, which allows its use as a standard position and the upside.”
