Hublot, renowned for its innovative spirit in the world of luxury watches, has introduced the MP-10 Tourbillon Weight Energy System, a groundbreaking departure from traditional watchmaking norms. This exceptional black timepiece challenges conventions by embracing a roller display, circular power reserve, and an inclined tourbillon, all powered by two linear weights.

This avant-garde creation marks a significant milestone in Hublot’s MP series, a result of five years of dedicated research and development. Comprising an impressive 592 components, this exclusive timepiece will be limited to just 50 pieces.
One of the most striking departures from tradition is the absence of conventional hands. Instead, the MP-10 boasts four rotating displays. The upper section displays the hours and minutes, with an invisible magnifying glass enhancing visibility. The middle section features a circular power reserve, clearly marked with green and red zones. In the lower part, seconds are indicated directly on the inclined tourbillon cage.
In this unconventional design, the movement itself serves as both the engine and the face of the watch, offering a unique and fluid way to read the time. The red and green two-tone disc complements the white lacquer typography on black aluminum rollers, with a red triangular marker for each indication.
The winding system of the MP-10 deviates from traditional movements, as it lacks a flat dial and a case-back oscillating weight. To accommodate its unique design and vertical time reading orientation, Hublot engineers reimagined the winding mechanism. Two white gold blocks, positioned on either side of the central architecture, move freely along a vertical axis. To prevent collisions, Hublot implemented an advanced shock absorber system. These two vertical weights engage with a rack, allowing bidirectional winding and providing the MP-10 with a power reserve exceeding 48 hours. Manual winding is facilitated through the crown at 12 o’clock, while time adjustment is achieved using a second crown on the case-back side to maintain the watch’s fluid design.
The exterior of the MP-10 matches its remarkable movement. Constructed from two pieces of shiny micro-blasted titanium, the case exudes modernity. The sapphire crystal atop the case is a testament to Hublot’s commitment to innovation, with inclined planes on three axes. The integrated black rubber strap adds both style and comfort, secured by a titanium deployant buckle. Measuring 54.1 mm in length, 41.5 mm in width, and 22.4 mm in thickness, the MP-10 is water-resistant to 3 ATM (30 meters or 100 feet), combining elegance with practicality.
