My dad always owned a classic car when I was a kid. At the time I found it embarrassing! Now I find them a thing of pure beauty. My all time favourite is the Pontiac Bonneville Convertible Coupe.
Great pictures & post.
The cars are just awesome. I love vintage cars and so as my husband. We also own the old Ford Mustang.
People always say am crazy to love old cars, but the Oldsmobile 88 is one of the best cars i love! Thanks for this post.. I love cars, and the fast ones.
I also have the same Oldsmobile 88 in red color. It was inherited from my father and I absolutely love it!
To take a term from the 80’s….”Oooohhh Yeahhhhh!”

A bit sad because there’s no mustang here. Those were my ‘it’ cars back in junior high. I wish car manufacturers can make them again.

In high school during Silent Reading I would grab a stack of the OLDEST National Geographics I could find, in order to look at all the nostalgic car ads! I loved the artist renderings of the cars and the ideal American life, Handsome hard working Dad, lovely June Cleaver Mom, a Dennis the Mennis child, and a dog. Thanks for posting all the ads! I wish a current car maker would do a modernized version of theses ads!
Can you get this pictures as posters?
